Christopher Lovejoy Exclusively Reveals To NoSmokeBoxing That He Will Face Fisher In 2023
American Heavyweight Christopher Lovejoy (20-1, 20 KOs) exclusively revealed to NoSmokeBoxing that he and the team of British prospect Johnny Fisher (6-0, 5 KOs) have agreed to fight in the spring/summer of 2023. Fisher will fight on Oct 29 and then likely one more time before going into a fight with Lovejoy while the American gets in shape and has a tune-up fight.
Lovejoy “‘I’m probably going to fight Johnny Fisher next spring or summer. We’ve come to an agreement on that. He’s going to fight two more times this year. We decided, as a group – me, his team, him – that it would be a bigger fight over in the UK with a little more build-up. Give him a few more fights and we can really sell it. He’s doing really good with sales, tickets and stuff like that. I come in when he’s got a little bit more momentum. He came off the injury.”
