Amid recent canceled and postponed fights throughout the British Boxing scene Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith of Matchroom Boxing still seem to be ‘on the grind’ and holding the fort to ensure they can still deliver for fans once the world is able to pull out of this virus crisis!
But even amongst all of the bad news, delays and issues Matchroom and the whole boxing community seem to be facing due to the Coronavirus outbreak, these two Boxing Moguls still are able to find a way to put a smile on to entertain fans!
In a recent Tweet from Edie Hearn on his @EddieHearn account both he and Frank Smith can be seen shaking off the vocal cobwebs while taking part in a so-called #CheerUpChallenge.
It seems from the Tweet that Hearn was ‘Nominated’ by his friend and former Matchroom WBC World Champ, Tony Bellew saying it was a “royal stitch up” but then goes on to nominate Tom Davis, Josh Warrington and IFL Boss, Kugan Cassisus to follow up with their very own musical performance.
It seems Hearn was enjoying himself and can be seen laughing mid-performance.
Our evaluation, Smith could do with a little vocal coaching but Hearn can definitely hold a tune. Is there anything this guy can’t do?
It goes without saying that the Boxing community and indeed the world can do with a little cheering up given the recent Pandemic, and this is just the kind of light-hearted fun that will help us along the way.
