Sheeraz responded to the tweet, stating, ‘I got business to handle in a few weeks, that’s priority. Once I win we can talk’.

There has been much talk of Sheeraz facing Janibek Alimkhanuly, with the fight set to take place before Sheeraz withdrew and opted to face Adames instead.

Though many fans will want to see Sheeraz move up to super-middleweight if he beats Adames, others will feel like Sheeraz is continuing to avoid the middleweight ‘boogeyman’.
