Ben Whittaker, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Silver Medalist Signs Promotional Deal
Ben Whittaker, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Silver medalist at Light Heavyweight, who is signed with Anthony Joshua\’s 258 MGT in January of this year, now appears to have agreed on a promotional deal.
Per an exclusive given to EverythingBoxing, Ben Whittaker will now follow Joshua-managed Frazer Clarke and his promotional deal and sign with Promoter Ben Shalom\’s Boxxer to fight Live on Sky Sports.
Whittaker, along with other members of the 258 stable, is expected to be a feature of Anthony Joshua undercards and therefore will get the best of the Sky Sports Machine.
Sky Sports is proven for creating stars in the UK and now they have the best of the Olympic Class.
Ben Whittaker joins Gold Medalist Lauren Price, Heavyweight Frazer Clarke, Caroline Dubois and Kariss Aringstall in being the fifth Olympian to sign with Boxxer from the 2020 Olympics.
He is also the seventh Olympian to be under the 258 banner from just 3 cycles.
