Chisora vs Pulev 2: Important Heavyweight Fight Opens Second Half Of DAZN Boxing Year

Many cannot fathom why Derek Chisora keeps getting big fights and headline opportunities even after losing 12 fights (3 in a row) but the fans love Chisora and tune in for him and this is an excellent move from DAZN to keep subscribers in a slower period. All data indicates that Chisora vs Parker 2 was probably the highest-rated DAZN UK fight night and in 2022, Chisora is likely to take the #1 spot again.

Chisora was supposed to face Poland\’s Adam Kownacki before somebody (me) leaked the contract via social media through a picture of Chisora signing it. Kownacki turned down the fight as a result, and Matchroom was swiftly forced to move on to a tougher and less sellable fight in Kubrat Pulev. Pulev easily beat Jerry Forrest in the United States on a Triller show just two months ago and now goes straight into this fight.

Derek Chisora vs Kubrat Pulev will take place this Saturday, July 9 at The O2 Arena, London, England Live on Global Sports Streaming Platform DAZN. There are expected to be over 5,000 people at the prestigious North Greenwich venue for Chisora vs Pulev 2 watching over what could be an exciting heavyweight slugfest between two veterans of the game.
