Chris Billam-Smith To Headline In December At The Bournemouth International Centre
Per Source, Commonwealth cruiserweight champion, Bournemouth\’s Chris Billam-Smith (16-1, 11 KOs) will return to the ring in December at the 3,500-capacity Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), Bournemouth, England.
NoSmokeBoxing understands that the show could take place on December 10/17 with the most likely option being December 10.
Billam-Smith will headline a BOXXER/Sky Sports boxing card at the venue for the second time this year due to a one-fight deal with Ben Shalom\’s BOXXER.
The Bournemouth cruiserweight is highly ranked in all the governing bodies (WBO #2, IBF #3, WBA #5, WBC #7) and is on the verge of a world title shot.
He is expected to get an opportunity at Australia\’s Ring Magazine champion Jai Opetaia in 2023 but with Opetaia\’s broken jaw, Billam-Smith will have a fight in between.
