European and Commonwealth Cruiserweight Champion Chris Billam-Smith (15-1) will face domestic rival Isaac Chamberlain (14-1) this Saturday, July 30 at the Bournemouth International Centre on a BOXXER on Sky Sports Boxing card in the UK. Chris Billam-Smith vs Isaac Chamberlain will be shown on subscription service FITE + ($4.99/month) in the United States.

Billam-Smith had been working with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing since his defeat to Riakporhe but has signed a one-fight deal with BOXXER to achieve a lifelong goal of fighting in Bournemouth. The WBO #2, IBF #3, WBA #5, and WBC #7 Cruiserweight is on the verge of a world title shot but takes a sidewards step at domestic level to fight in Bournemouth, an opportunity Matchroom was not prepared to deliver to Billam-Smith.
Chamberlain, promoted by Hennessy Sports, has not faced high-level competition since his lacklustre points defeat in his O2 headline fight with Lawrence Okolie back in 2018. A big step-up for Chamberlain but many feel he has the talent to beat Chris Billam-Smith. The winner of this fight could be in line for a domestic clash with Richard Riakporhe, who is also with BOXXER, later this year.
