Frank Warren-BT Extension, Bryan vs Dubois Date/Location and The Fightzone TV Schedule

Frank Warren/Queensberry-BT

Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions Announced Yesterday Via IFL TV that they had agreed on a 3-year extension with British Broadcaster BT Sports. Adding in the time from their existing contract, Queensberry now have at least 4-years with BT. In February, BT and Discovery entered exclusive negotiation periods to merge BT Sport and Eurosport and as a result, BT Sport is extending deals with its content partners including the UFC.

Frank Warren has also had to cancel his York Hall show on April 29 due to his unable to secure another main event. Essuman Tetley was supposed to headline the card but was moved to the Fury Whyte show due to the Cacace bout falling through. This is very disappointing for the fighters that have spent a full training camp for this fight, only for it to get cancelled not due to injury or anything out of control but the complete opposite – a choice made by Queensberry. This show should\’ve continued with no main event if necessary to give the fighters their opportunity to fight.

Trevor Bryan vs Daniel Dubois

Yesterday, Promoter Don King announced that the Trevor Bryan-Daniel Dubois WBA (Regular) Heavyweight Title Fight would take place on June 11th. The expected Location is to be Miami, Florida. There is no confirmed site or broadcaster yet. King outbid Frank Warren to win the purse bids for $3,116,001 which was significantly higher than anyone expected and there was and still is a suspicion that the fight will not go through.
