Haney vs Kambosos 2 – Haney and Kambosos Rematch For All The Belts In Australia
Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr meet in a rematch for all the marbles at a 135-pounds at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia this Saturday, October 15.
Haney and Kambosos fought for the undisputed titles in June and after a dominant performance from the American, who held only 1 belt beforehand, Kambsos has activated his contracted rematch clause.
There is a visible lack of interest in the bout explaining the decision to stage the rematch in a 15,000-capacity arena whilst the first fight brought over 40,000 to the Marvel Stadium.
Most fans expect the same result in the contest and would rather see Haney in the ring with Vasyl Lomachenko, Gervonta Davis and Shakur Stevenson amongst others.
Who Will The Haney Kambosos Winner Face Next?
Lomachenko makes his ring return on Oct 29 against unbeaten Jamaine Ortiz (16-0-1). Should Loma and Haney win their respective bouts, it’s very likely that they face each other in 2023 with them both being promoted under the Top Rank banner.
Stevenson is also with Bob Arum‘s TR and will look to get a fight in at 135 before being in the mix for the winner.
