Hughie Fury Next Fight

Ben-Shalom Confirmed on Wednesday that Hughie Fury and Michael Hunter have agreed to terms to fight each other next. Shalom stated that they are just finalizing a date that looks like \’early July\’. Shalom also said Ben Whittaker would debut in late June/early July which could be on this show.

Marshall vs Shields

Savannah Marshall\’s trainer Peter Fury revealed via IFL TV yesterday that Marshall Shields had not suffered any of the rumoured obstacles. Fury stated he had not seen Marshall since the fight and that she had a procedure on her arm with her currently recovering before beginning camp for her mega-fight with Shields.

Claressa Shields has an MMA Commitment with PFL MMA and is expected to compete in an MMA bout in November with a confirmed date of November 25 for PFL 10 although it is not confirmed she will return on that card. Shields will probably have to start camp in September for an MMA fight and therefore if Marshall vs Shields is going to take place this year it has a deadline of the middle of August at best.

New Wasserman Boxing Show

Wasserman Boxing will have another channel 5 show on Friday, June 17 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. Boxer Mason Cartwright has confirmed he will be on this card. Nathan Gorman could also feature on this show as well as another Josh Kelly outing should he get through his May 13 fight relatively easily.

Joyce vs Parker

David Higgins, the manager of Joseph Parker, told Boxing Social yesterday that any chance of a fight between Parker and Joyce on July 2 was thin. Higgins stated that Queensberry\’s request of a multi-fight deal instead of one fight would take a longer time to contract. As a result, it seems unlikely Joyce vs Parker will go on in seven weeks\’ time.

Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed yesterday that they had made an offer to Jose Ramirez to face Conor Benn on July 9 at The O2. If that fight or a big fight does not materialise for Benn, on that date he will search for a big fight in August and Derek Chisora may headline that show instead possibly against Poland\’s Adam Kownacki.

IBO Super Middleweight Champion Lerrone Richards will return to the ring on the Ogawa-Cordina undercard on June 4th with no opponent yet. According to Richards, they were planning a fight against a particular person, but they got beat recently.
