Liverpool’s unbeaten super welterweight prospect Jack McGann (6-0-1) faces former Italian welterweight champion, southpaw Nicola Cristofori (14-3-2). McGann stepped up massively in his last outing in April against John Brennan (13-6-2) who had McGann down in the second before being stopped in the fourth in what the audience described as a ‘small-hall classic’.

Jack McGann takes another big leap in opposition, this time against Cristofori who has had much more success at a higher level. Cristofori beat Michele Esposito (97-93 x3), who extended Dean Sutherland 8 entertaining rounds on Fightzone in 2021, in 2018 for the Italian strap. Cristofori was also beating Maxim Prodan before a controversial 10th-round stoppage in favour of the home fighter on DAZN in 2021.

Cristofori has since racked up 3 wins in six-round contests and is not to be underestimated on July 1 because if McGann is not at the top of his game, Cristofori could give him a very tough night’s work. Very intriguing 10-round main event coming on July 1 at York Hall.

Jack McGann vs Nicola Cristofori Undercard

The Full Matchups for the undercard will be announced shortly but is expected to feature Jordan Dujon, John Brenan, Nathan Mizon, and Conor Gray among others.
