Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of The KSI vs Swarmz, KSI vs Pineda Double Header
In June, Global sports streaming service DAZN announced a groundbreaking deal with social media star KSI and his promoter Misfits Boxing, in association with the Sauerland brothers, Wasserman Boxing and Proper Loud.
The agreement marks the launch of the new MF & DAZN: X Series, a series of pioneering crossover evenings that will show world-class figures from the world of entertainment and sports facing off in top boxing events.
The first of these evenings, under the title ‘MF & DAZN: X Series 001’, will be led by rapper, boxer and network star KSI. The British phenomenon will be making history by participating in two scheduled fights on the same night at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday, August 27.
First, he will be facing a late replacement in rapper Swarmz after Alex Wassabi pulled out of their scheduled fight. Later on in the evening, KSI will beat Jake Paul to being the first member of the YouTube community to face a genuine professional boxer when he takes on Mexican Luis Alcaraz Pineda.
Live on air Misfits/Wasserman will be announcing details for another Misfits/DAZN boxing event to take place in the United Kingdom in October. Misfits will also have events in November (United States) and January (TBC) according to Kalle Sauerland. Mams has previously revealed that the deal between Misfits and DAZN is to stage 6 events per year with some being on the regular DAZN platform and others on DAZN\’s newly-launched pay-per-veiw platfrom.

The event begins at 7 pm BST (2 pm ET, 11 am PT) with KSI\’s first appearance of the night against rapper Swarmz. There are 6 more undercard fights, including FaZe Sensei, FaZe Temperrr and KSI\’s younger brother Deji.
The eighth and final fight of the night is the second ring appearance of KSI, this time against a professional boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda (2-5). The Main event ring walk time for KSI vs Pineda is approximately 10:30 BST (5:30 pm ET, 2:30 pm PT).

The blockbuster event will be available on DAZN PPV in the U.S. ($9.99 for current subscribers and $29.98 for new subscribers, which includes one month’s subscription to DAZN), Canada (CAD $9.99 for current and CAD $34.98 for new subscribers), and the UK and Ireland (£11.99/€11.99 for current and £19.98/€19.98 for new subscribers).
The card will also be streamed live on DAZN in over 200 countries across the globe (except Crimea, Iran, Cuba, North Korea and Syria).
