REPORT: KSI vs Temperrr PPV Buys In The UK And US For Jan 14 Fight

KSI vs Temperrr PPV Buys Revealed As 300k In The Two Major Territories

Gareth A Davies, a sports correspondent for ‘The Telegraph‘ and long-time boxing journalist, reported via Twitter that the PPV buy rate for KSI’s impressive 1st-round destruction of FaZe Temperrr on Jan 14 was 300k.

Davies stated that KSI vs Temperrr was witnessed by a sell-out 10,200 crowd at the OVO Arena with Anthony Taylor vs Idris Virgo on the card, Wembley and delivered 300,000 PPV sales on DAZN PPV in the two key territories which were the UK and the US.

The majority of the 300k are expected in the UK where the fight cost £11.99 + a DAZN subscription (£7.99). The US offered the bout for $39.99 in addition to a $19.99 subscription to the global streaming service.

KSI vs Temperrr was also PPV in seven other territories: Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, Mexico, Sweden and the Netherlands.

These territories are smaller and it is safe to say that they wouldn’t have accumulated more than 100k buys globally. The fight was on regular DAZN everywhere else in the world.

KSI’s last outing in August 2022 against Swarmz and Pineda delivered 445k buys in the US, Canada, Ireland and the United States. This fight was PPV in more territories and is still expected to sell fewer PPVs.

This could be for a variety of reasons including the intrigue of KSI fighting twice in one night increasing buys, KSI vs Swarmz was the former’s first contest in three years and that the Temperrr fight was in January which is a notoriously more difficult month to sell PPVs or tickets.
