Nov 26 At The O2 Reserved, Is Dubois vs Whyte On?

Big Indicator For Dubois vs Whyte As O2 Arena Date Reserved

For the past month or so, there have been rumours that Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) would take on WBA (Regular) heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (18-1). Dan Rafael reported yesterday that Dubois would headline The O2 Arena, London on November 26, A 18,000 capacity arena indicates a major fight and Whyte fits all boxes. It is likely Dubois vs Whyte is in the makings for Nov 26 on BT Sport Box Office.

Whyte previously fought Tyson Fury on a Queensberry show in April and both sides were being difficult with each other, to say the least. Therefore, it was doubtful that Frank Warren would voluntarily work with Whyte again, but there is no doubt Dubois vs Whyte is one of the biggest fights that can be made for Whyte right now and it looks like both sides have found goodwill.

November 26 is also the pencilled-in date for the rematch between Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall with the fight likely to land at the OVO Hydro or Manchester Arena. Taylor Catterall 2 did have the possibility of taking place on Sky Sports Box Office but if Dubois vs Whyte does get confirmed, it would not be a wise move from BOXXER to have a clashing PPV event against a fight that better attracts casual fans.
