BOXXER’s Ben Shalom confirmed to Sky Sports News last month that Britain’s unbeaten top 15 cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe (15-0, 11 KOs) will meet Poland’s Krzysztof Glowacki (32-3, 20 KOs) in his next outing.

NoSmokeBoxing understands that Riakporhe Glowacki is likely to land on the Chris Eubank Jr-Liam Smith pay-per-view undercard on January 21st at Manchester’s 20,000-capacity AO Arena.

However, Glowacki is yet to receive a contract for the ‘twice-postponed’ bout with Riakporhe and is getting frustrated at the amount of time a fighter of his calibre has had to wait for a confirmed date.

Glowacki unsuccessfully challenged Lawrence Okolie for the WBO title and was convincingly knocked out inside six rounds at the hands of a dominant, spectacular performance from the Brit. Riakporhe will be hoping to one-up his rival Okolie’s performance against an albeit faded fighter but still a career toughest test for Richard Riakporhe.
