Pat McCormack Signs With Matchroom, Announcement Expected On Thursday

Sources tell NoSmokeBoxing that 2020 Olympic Silver medalist Pat McCormack (2-0, 2 KOs) has signed with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. The signing is expected to be announced at 11 am BST on Thursday, 27th October with a press conference following.

McCormack is widely regarded as one of the best talents in British and world boxing. He competed at 69kg (152lbs) in the amateurs winning Gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European championships in addition to his Olympic achievement.

McCormack turned professional with Richard Schaefer’s Probellum late last year and fought two times winning inside the opening round on both occasions. McCormack is expected to compete in the welterweight division and will now be continuing his career with Hearn’s Matchroom live on DAZN worldwide.
