When asked by talkSPORT who he sees as the next heavyweight champion, Usyk didn’t hesitate. He singled out a fighter he believes has all the tools to dominate the division.

“Moses Itauma, I think, is a great fighter,” Usyk revealed. “Young. 20 years old. I think Itauma has a big future.”
It’s high praise from a man who has faced and beaten the best. Itauma, an exciting British prospect, has been making waves in the heavyweight scene. He recently improved his record to 11-0 with a devastating first-round stoppage of Demsey McKean, showing the kind of power and composure that could make him a serious threat at the top level.
Itauma has been highly touted as the man to beat Mike Tyson’s record for being the youngest heavyweight world champion, though he only has a few months to do it.
One opponent that could cement this record for the Chatham fighter is Kubrat Pulev, who currently holds the WBA Regular belt.
