It’s no surprise, then, that the plans just keep getting bigger, with rumours suggesting Turki has plans for some big cards for the upcoming Riyadh Season, featuring big names such as Devin Haney, Vergil Ortiz, Jaron Ennis, Joe Cordina, Shakur Stevenson and more.

Turki has previously stated that he wouldn’t work with Tim Tszyu, despite the Australian initially billed to face Ortiz on the Crawford Madrimov card before withdrawing with injury. Eddie Hearn has also revealed that he has made an offer to Mario Barrios for the Ennis fight. As a result, perhaps Madrimov, who lost a close fight against a generational talent in Crawford, will be the frontrunner to face Ortiz.

Shakur has previously spoken on fighting Cordina, responding to a fan on Twitter who mocked Cordina’s last fight against Anthony Cacace.

Rumours were circulating that the next fight would be Stevenson vs Zepeda, though Stevenson again has shed some light on that, suggesting the following:

It is unclear which of these fights will feature on the same cards, or if each will headline its own event, but with the cards Riyadh Season has been putting on, it’s entirely possible that several of these big fights will all be on one stacked card, like the upcoming Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois Wembley card, as seen below:
