Former British, Commonwealth, European and IBO Super Middleweight champion, Britain’s Lerrone Richards (16-0, 3 KOs) will make his ring return on the 26th of November in London.

‘Sniper The Boss’ was with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing until earlier this year and was offered a fight with Ali Akhmedov, however, he turned it down because it would be a ‘step down’ according to Richard’s team and a fight he would have to wait till September 17 (Canelo GGG 3 card) for.

Richards declared himself as a free agent in July as a result and NoSmokeBoxing understands he has signed a one-fight deal with Ben Shalom’s BOXXER/Sky Sports Boxing with the intention to have more fights moving forward.

The unbeaten 168-pounder has since vacated his IBO world title and NSB has learnt that he will face English champion Zak Chelli (12-1-1, 6 KOs) at Alexander Palace in his BOXXER debut.

The card is expected to be headlined by Adam Azim vs Rylan Charlton and also feature the British cruiserweight title attraction between Mikael Lawal and Deion Jumah.
