Unexpected Cameo in Undisputed Boxing Game Gets Mixed Reaction From Fans

With the much-anticipated boxing game, Undisputed, releasing this week, boxing fans and gamers alike are finally able to play the game that’s been in Early Access since January last year.

The game boasts ‘more than 60 individual punches’, ‘revolutionary footwork mechanics’ and ’70+ licensed fighters’ to choose from, including Canelo Alvarez and Tyson Fury, who don the cover of the game.

It has received mixed reviews since its release, with some claiming the game to be ‘very rough’ and ‘bare bones’, and others calling it ‘the real deal!’

Unexpected Cameo Receives Mixed Reactions

It was revealed that in the game, if the player is able to collect all the belts and become undisputed, Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh appears holding the Undisputed belt.

In January, Turki said in an interview with Ade Oladipo that ‘undisputed will be huge in Riyadh Season and we will support it’.

With many fans critical of Saudi Arabia’s presence in boxing, it’s no surprise Turki’s cameo has received mixed response.

Though many credit Saudi Arabia’s involvement in boxing for the fights made as a result, such as the upcoming Fury Usyk rematch and the recent Bivol Beterbiev bout, some fans are still unconvinced about the benefits of a potential Saudi takeover.
