Tommy Fury Set to Face Darren Till in Misfits Announcement

In a recent announcement made on social media, KSI’s promotional outfit, Misfits, has revealed that on January 18th, Tommy Fury will face former MMA fighter Darren Till in Manchester.

Tommy Fury was set to enter the Australian jungle to appear in this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, though dropped out at the last minute due to a more lucrative offer. The offer was originally thought to be a rematch with YouTuber KSI, who Tommy Fury beat by unanimous decision in a close six-round bout in October last year.

Fury has also beaten the likes of Jake Paul, who just this past weekend broke records fighting Mike Tyson on Netflix’s first foray into boxing. Paul took the 50-6 Tyson the distance, and seemingly went easy as Tyson’s age showed in the ring.

The fight is set to take place in the Co-Op Arena, Manchester, and promoter Kalle Sauerland said it will be ‘the wildest scrap of 2025. Absolute tear up…Manchester vs Liverpool January El Classico…live on DAZN’.

Darren Till recently made his boxing debut in an exhibition bout against Mohammed Mutie, a lesser-known MMA fighter, who Till defeated in the second round.

Till’s UFC career saw the Liverpool man defeat Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson, though he notably fell short in his bouts against big names such as Tyron Woodley, Robert Whittaker, Jorge Masvidal, and Dricus Du Plessis.

Till was set to face Julio Caesar Chavez Jr on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson card when it was set for July, but the fight never came to fruition.

KSI may be eyeing the winner of this bout for his next fight, though rumours are still circulating that his next opponent may be ex-boxer, Amir Khan.

Misfits are set to stage one of their biggest cards yet in Qatar later this month, with AnEsonGib vs Slim Albaher topping the bill, and the likes of Jarvis vs Ben Williams, Jay Swingler vs NichLmao 2, Deji’s return, and King Kenny vs Salt Papi on the undercard.
