Roach vs McCrory

To kick off the boxing this weekend we have a Super featherweight world title fight pitting 24-1-1 Lamont Roach against 16-0 Feargal McCrory. The fight will be available to watch on ProBoxTV in the UK and US.

Roach comes off a split-decision win over Hector Luis Garcia to win the title, and his one loss comes at the hands of Jamal Herring. McCrory, on the other hand, comes in undefeated, with his most notable win being 25-7 Carlos Carlson who he beat to win the WBA Inter-Continental Super featherweight title.

A mismatch to some, the highlight of the boxing this weekend for others, 20-1 Teofimo Lopez takes on 38-7-2 Steve Claggett in a super lightweight contest. Perhaps the biggest fight in boxing this weekend, 19-0 Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez seeks to add to his impressive resume by taking on 44-3 Juan Francisco ‘El Gallo’ Estrada. Rodriguez comes off a stoppage win over the UK’s Sunny Edwards, who is also boxing this weekend on the card. The fight will be available to watch worldwide on DAZN.

Bam holds wins over Wisaksil Wangek, Carlos Cuadras, and Israel Gonzalez at the age of just 24. Estrada’s record is also an impressive one, having lost only to Wisaksil Wangek, Roman Gonzalez and Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr., with the losses against Wangek and Gonzalez later redeemed.
