Munguia had won the fight via unanimous decision in Riyadh, avenging a prior knockout loss to Surace last December. The B-sample confirmation now places that result in jeopardy.
An official hearing date with the BBBofC is yet to be announced. Munguia has not commented publicly since the second test result was confirmed.
