Anthony Joshua’s management company, 258 MGT, in association with promoter Matchroom Boxing announced today that they had agreed on all terms presented by Queensberry Promotions/Frank Warren to face Tyson Fury for the WBC World Heavyweight Title on Dec 3 likely at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.

258 MGT Announces Anthony Joshua Has Agreed To Face Tyson Fury

258 MGT revealed that they are now awaiting a response from Team Fury. Both Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing) told IFL TV last week that the deal presented to Joshua was a 60-40 split with a rematch clause if Joshua wins and the split in the rematch is 50-50.

Warren/Fury gave Joshua the choice of either December 3 or November 26 for the fight.

Joshua was given the deadline of Thursday 8th of September and per 258 MGT’s Twitter post, he agreed to the fight on Friday 9th of September. “Due to the Queen’s passing, it was agreed to halt all communication”.

Frank Warren has responded by saying Anthony Joshua would soon receive a contract for the bout.
