Former Olympic heavyweight Frazer Clarke has hit out at fellow British heavyweight David Adeleye stating that he wants to hurt the newly crowned British heavyweight champion.
Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Clarke discussed how he was aiming to call out the winner of the controversial clash between Adeleye and Jeamie TKV but felt it wasn’t the right time due to the nature of Adeleye’s victory and a potential rematch between the pair.
He admitted to having respect for both fighters but sees a fight against either as a great opportunity to continue his rebuild to the top following his defeat last time out. The 33-year old believes that TKV was having the better of the bout before the controversial stoppage, feeling that Adeleye’s victory was unimpressive.

Adeleye had his own choice words to say about Clarke following his title victory, stating that he believes Clarke is still trying to find his feet in the sport despite his decorated amateur background.
“He can say what he wants, I’d prefer to fight Adeleye just so I can put a smashing on him. Adeleye is the one I’d love to fight more because I’d love to hurt him,” replied Clarke in frustration.
“When it comes to it I just want the best fights and I think the build up and I think the fight will be a good fight, I think he’s fuc*king garbage absolute dogsh*t.”
Clarke was last in the ring back in October 2024 where he suffered a tough first round stoppage loss to Fabio Wardley in their rematch, leaving him with a facial injury thats kept him out of action. The Olympic Bronze medalist is keen to put his first ever professional defeat behind him as he looks to regain activity following a frustrating period on the sidelines.
“It feels ages ago, i’m a guy who majority of my career has boxed regularly, to have such inactivity in-between fights its difficult as a pro but obviously you’re fighting longer rounds and you can get injuries like what happened last time,” said Clarke.
“It is a bit frustrating and it is difficult but I’m back now and I’m fit, lets get this one out of the way and then i’ll sit down straight away, have the conversations and hopefully push on and keep busy”
He returns to action on Easter Sunday on the undercard of Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron, taking on Ghanaian heavyweight Ebenezer Tetteh who himself was stopped last time out against Dillian Whyte.
“He’s erratic, he’s a tough man and he’s proud,” said Clarke on his upcoming opponent. “His record speaks for itself, he’s a tough man who comes to win so i’m expecting a hard nights work.”
“I didn’t see the point in coming back to bowl someone over in thirty seconds, so I thought we’d come back to a good challenge and this is the kind of man that gets you out of bed.”
