Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn erupted into a brawl in Manchester when Eubank Jr. slapped Benn with an egg during their face-off.
Chris Eubank Jr., now 34-3, will face the undefeated Conor Benn on April 26th in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The fight continues a long-standing rivalry between the Eubanks and the Benns, after Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn fought twice in 1990 and 1993.
Eubank stopped Benn in 1990 and fought to a draw with ‘The Dark Destroyer’ in 1993.
Their sons, Eubank Jr. and Benn have made no secret of their distaste for one another, with Eubank Jr. regularly taunting Benn for his PED ban, which Benn blamed on aspects of his diet, namely eggs.
At their Manchester press conference, Eubank Jr. struck Benn in the head with an egg, prompting a furious Benn to lash out at his future opponent.
A second press conference set for today has since been canceled as a result of the incident.

Eddie Hearn believes Conor Benn will seek revenge for Chris Eubank Jr.’s egg attack
Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Eddie Hearn said of the presser incident:
“It’s like he got one up on you, he won. So you got one up on me with a b—- slap move with something you brought on the stage, okay? What do you think, that just ends there? It never ends there does it.”
Hearn continued: “It’s not like people are gonna be waiting outside people’s houses but […] We’ve been contacted by the board to make sure that it’s not ‘on sight’.”
Speaking on the canceled face-off today, Hearn said: “Can’t have them anywhere near each other […] that would not be a good idea.”
The pair were initially set to fight back in 2022, but was canceled after Benn was found to have been using PEDs, though he is now clear to fight once more.
Who will be on the Chris Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn undercard?
On the Eubank Jr. vs Benn undercard will be a host of domestic fights. Chris Billam-Smith will make his comeback against Brandon Glanton after losing his cruiserweight title to Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez.
Glanton has a 20-2 record, and ran a close fight with former world title challenger David Light.
Also fighting on the card is Viddal Riley, in a step up following the cancellation of the Isaac Chamberlain fight. Riley believes Chamberlain lied about an injury to withdraw from the fight.

Riley will now be putting his undefeated record on the line against Chev Clarke, who recently lost a close decision for the European title in his 11th fight.
Anthony Yarde will face Lyndon Arthur for the third time, following a win apiece in their previous encounters. Yarde’s career has been turbulent to say the least, bouncing between facing big names such as Artur Beterbiev to little-known fighters levels beneath him.
Liam Smith faces a tough test in rising prospect Aaron McKenna. McKenna stopped 14-0 Jeovanny Estela in the now seemingly canceled Prizefighter tournament in Japan.
