Oleksandr Usyk has revealed he has just two fights left before he retires from boxing, with the Ukrainian heavyweight champion outlining his plans for the remainder of his career.
Despite speculation about his long-term future in the sport, Usyk has made it clear in a retirement update that he intends to step away from boxing after two more bouts. He stated, “I have two fights to prepare [for], not more – just two.” The former undisputed cruiserweight champion has enjoyed an illustrious career and now holds all but the IBF title, which Joseph Parker and Daniel Dubois will compete for on February 22nd.

Usyk has already bested Dubois, but a rematch may be warranted if Dubois is able to beat Parker, after their bout saw a controversial punch land on Usyk and send him to the canvas.
Though we know who is likely next for Usyk, his final fight is so far a mystery.
Usyk has before spoken of returning to cruiserweight to face Jai Opetaia, who by then is likely to have unified the division against Gilberto Ramirez.
Usyk wants Alex Pereira
An interesting alternative Usyk mentioned is UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, though he admitted he was unfamiliar with the Brazilian’s boxing credentials.

As Usyk’s career winds down, his immediate focus remains on the winner of Parker and Dubois and becoming undisputed heavyweight champion for the second time. With just two fights left, the boxing world eagerly awaits how his final chapter will unfold.
