British heavyweight Daniel Dubois has declared he’s ready to “unleash chaos” in his highly anticipated rematch against Oleksandr Usyk this Saturday at Wembley Stadium.
Dubois enters the undisputed title clash riding a wave of momentum, following a string of emphatic stoppage victories over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgović, and most notably, former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua.
His fifth-round knockout of Joshua at Wembley in 2024 cemented his place among the division’s elite and has only strengthened his belief heading into the weekend.
“I’m going to win, I’m going to bring chaos in that ring and do whatever is need to get that victory,” said Dubois to The Stomping Ground.
“It’s a history making fight, this is the biggest fight in boxing so I’m well up for it. Growing up and seeing all the great fighters before me I’ll be up there with them.”

Daniel Dubois Will Beat ‘Old Man’ Oleksandr Usyk
Daniel Dubois comes into this weekends clash with youth on his side, and despite Usyk being unbeaten in his pro career with 23 victories the Ukrainian is at the back end of his career now at 38 years of age.
Many see Dubois now in the prime of his career having already come through various challenges including defeat to Usyk in their first fight in 2023.
Now the IBF champion, Dubois is seeking redemption after their controversial first meeting in August 2023, when a fifth-round body shot, originally ruled a low blow, gave Usyk time to recover before stopping Dubois in the ninth. Many still debate whether that moment denied Dubois a rightful victory.
Since then, the 27-year-old Londoner has transformed both physically and mentally. His disciplined training regime, renewed confidence, and string of knockouts have positioned him as a genuine threat to Usyk’s reign.
Usyk, however, remains unbeaten and battle-hardened, having unified all four major belts and outboxed the likes of Joshua and Tyson Fury. But questions linger about how much his age may impact his performance.

“I’m going to go in there and do what I have to do, make it crazy, bring chaos on the night,” said Dubois.
“Whatever it takes to win I’m going to do it, he’s just a man and I’ll just have to break him down, turn him old on the night.
“He’s 38-years-old, you’re not going to get back that energy you had at twenty seven, thats what I’m going to do put it on him. I’m a different fighter (from the first fight), there’s miles on the clock for him.”
