Parker vs Andrade Targeted For Nov 5 In Nottingham

Parker vs Andrade To Be Rescheduled For WBO Interim 168-Pound Championship

Sources tell NoSmokeBoxing that Frank Warren\’s Queensberry Promotions are planning to put on the rescheduled WBO Interim Super Middleweight Title Fight between WBO #1 Zach Parker (22-0, 16 KOs) and former Middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (31-0, 19 KOs) on the 5th of November.

The intention is for the fight to headline a BT Sport card at the 9,000-capacity Nottingham Arena, England. NSB must emphasise that the deal is NOT completed yet but is likely to be agreed on in the next couple of weeks aligning with an announcement on the Joe Joyce vs Joseph Parker Pay-Per-View broadcast on the 24th of September.

Parker and Andrade were initially scheduled to fight on the 21st of May at the Pride Park Stadium, Derby but the American suffered a right shoulder injury which forced the bout to be postponed. The fight was not rescheduled as the WBO withdrew their sanction and there were rumours Andrade would move back down to Middleweight.

In August, Andrade relinquished his WBO title and officially moved up to 168, successfully applying to compete for the interim title with the Englishman. The European title fight between Liam Davies and Ionut Baluta will land on the undercard should the Andrade-Parker bout materialise.
