Katie Taylor Manager Charged Ahead of Major Fight Week

Brian Peters, whose address is listed as Ennistown, Kilmessan, County Meath, has been charged with assaulting his brother, Colm Peters, at the County Club in Dunshaughlin on August 29, 2024. The venue is understood to be owned by the Peters family, who also run another local pub, An Sibin, in the same town.

The case was called at Trim District Court last week, but Peters was not present. His solicitor offered an apology for his absence, and the matter was adjourned until July 8 just three days before Katie Taylor is set to face Amanda Serrano in their trilogy bout at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Brian Peters is a highly recognised figure in Irish boxing, having guided Bernard Dunne to a world super-bantamweight title in 2009 and playing a pivotal role in Katie Taylor’s professional career. There has been no comment from Taylor or her team regarding the matter. Legal proceedings remain ongoing.
